Most companies can’t or won’t halt a production line to construct a non-standard product ~ at CD&E Enterprises, that’s one of our specialties! If you don’t see what you need among our standard models, just ask. “Custom” can be as simple as changing a single dimension of a standard model, or as complex as outfitting an entire facility with a “build to suit” project. CD&E Enterprises specializes in building the enclosure you want ~ not just selling you what we make.

CUSTOM PRICING
Naturally, the price of a custom enclosure depends on the size, type and design of the enclosure you would like built.
CUSTOM MODIFICATIONS to a standard design start with the price of the standard model. The price is then adjusted for the cost of the modifications, and a nominal custom fee is added (generally $25-50).
CUSTOM DESIGNS follow a standard formula for materials and labor with a custom design fee added (generally $50-85).
All custom orders are quoted on an individual basis. Once a custom design is approved, payment must be made before construction begins. There is NO return on custom orders.

      
WHY CHARGE A CUSTOM FEE?
CD&E charges a custom fee to account for two factors ~ design and production.
Any custom or non-standard project must first be designed on paper complete with measurements, pipe and wire cuts, materials allocations and design orientation.
Like any company, CD&E follows a production schedule designed to maximize efficiency and productivity. When a custom project is introduced into the schedule, normal multiple quantity cage construction is halted and the individual custom design is built from scratch.
The custom fee is smaller for simple modifications and larger for more complicated custom projects. In either case, the custom fee attempts to fairly and accurately account for the design process and singular production involved in an individual custom project.
